Asset Protection Specialist (Maternity Cover)

The Asset Protection Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets, reducing shrink, and maintaining a safe and secure store environment. This role supports assigned stores or regions through incident response, security system oversight, investigation support, and proactive loss prevention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to store security incidents and manage evidence and escalations

• Monitor and maintain CCTV, EAS, alarms and access control systems

• Support internal investigations with data analysis and trend monitoring

• Deliver asset protection training, coaching and stakeholder guidance

• Manage asset protection administration, vendors and supplier invoices

• Analyse shrink, support stocktakes, and implement loss prevention actions

About you 

• Proven experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security operations

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures

• Skilled in monitoring security systems and analysing data to identify risks

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and respond to incidents

• Flexible to travel to focus or high-risk stores as required
