Ventura’s bus drivers provide an essential service by keeping our community moving and connected. With no day the same as the last, our bus drivers deliver a range of bus services including public and school routes, rail replacement, charter and special events.
Our Drivers are highly valued and respected, strongly supported by our management team. We have excellent facilities to be enjoyed and best yet, a friendly inclusive workforce. Career progression is supported, with pathways into operations and leadership roles readily available for those seeking further career moves.
We currently have multiple positions for FULL TIME Bus Drivers at our Knoxfield Depot. We are searching for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community, whilst delivering exceptional customer experiences in the safe transportation of passengers.
Applicants must be willing and flexible to work a rotating roster, which includes weekends, early morning and late-night shifts.
In return we offer on-going support and training to our drivers, top industry rates and stable employment in a secure industry
What are we looking for in our Driver's?
- A current Victorian Medium Rigid or above driver's licence
- Heavy vehicle driving experience
- Customer focused individuals with the desire to provide assistance when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Safe driving record
- High regard for safety, road rules and regulations
- Ability to obtain relevant medical and background clearances including Driver’s Accreditation (DC) and a Working With Children Card (WWCC)
