About the Role:
At Keen to Clean Operations Australia Pty Ltd, we are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to support the growth of our commercial cleaning services across South Australia. The role focuses on building client relationships, securing service contracts, and supporting franchise operations to drive consistent business and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the development and implementation of business development and sales strategies to expand commercial cleaning contracts and maximise organisational revenue.
- Identify and direct new business opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors to support market expansion and long-term growth.
- Direct the development and implementation of strategies to promote the organisation’s services and strengthen brand presence in target markets.
- Establish and direct strategic partnerships and client relationships to secure new contracts and enhance customer retention.
- Lead negotiations of service agreements, tenders, and contract terms in line with organisational objectives.
- Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify opportunities for business expansion and service diversification.
- Direct business development initiatives to enter new markets, geographic regions, and service areas.
- Set sales targets and direct sales activities to achieve revenue growth and customer acquisition objectives.
- Coordinate sales and marketing functions across service areas and franchise operations to ensure consistent business development outcomes.
- Direct the preparation and review of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Oversee marketing and promotional strategies, including digital and traditional channels, to support lead generation and business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or marketing management (preferably in commercial services or cleaning industry).
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Strong experience in client acquisition, contract negotiation, and account management.
- Ability to analyse market trends and identify business expansion opportunities.
- Experience in preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales activities effectively.
- Knowledge of Australian business environment and commercial service sector (preferred).
