As the business continues to strengthen its operations and reputation within the local hospitality industry, Kickin’Inn is seeking a Skilled and Experienced Chef to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the team, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and customer service.
Salary Range : $75000-$80000AUD
Location : Westfield Tuggerah, Shop E4/50 Wyong Rd, Tuggerah NSW 2259, Australia
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of menu items in accordance with established recipes and service standards.
- Ensure all dishes meet high standards of quality, consistency, taste, and presentation.
- Participate in menu planning and development, including introducing new dishes and utilising seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations (including HACCP).
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of food to minimise wastage and maintain cost control.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required :
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
- Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
