As the business continues to strengthen its operations and reputation within the local hospitality industry, Kickin’Inn is seeking a Skilled and Experienced Chef to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the team, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and customer service.

Salary Range : $75000-$80000AUD

Location : Westfield Tuggerah, Shop E4/50 Wyong Rd, Tuggerah NSW 2259, Australia

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of menu items in accordance with established recipes and service standards.
  2. Ensure all dishes meet high standards of quality, consistency, taste, and presentation.
  3. Participate in menu planning and development, including introducing new dishes and utilising seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
  4. Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations (including HACCP).
  5. Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of food to minimise wastage and maintain cost control.
  6. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.

Skills & Experience Required :

  1. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen.
  2. Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
  3. Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with precision and attention to detail.
  4. Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
