We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our growing team and support the design and delivery of construction and building material solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans and layouts for civil and structural components, including steel framing systems and building materials

 Interpret architectural and engineering designs into accurate technical drawings

 Assist in the design and documentation of construction projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and specifications

 Liaise with engineers, project managers and clients to clarify design requirements and specifications

 Modify and update drawings based on feedback, site conditions and project variations

 Maintain drawing registers, documentation and version control systems

 Assist in material take-offs and technical support for project planning and delivery

 Ensure all drawings are produced within required timeframes and quality standards

Skills & Experience

 Diploma in Civil Construction Design on similar qualification

 At least 1 year experience in civil drafting or civil engineering technician role

 Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other drafting software

 Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and Australian standards

 Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings

 High attention to detail and accuracy

 Strong communication and coordination skills

 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
