Position: Cook
Location: Flagstone QLD 4280
Work Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum + Superannuation
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our busy restaurant located in Flagstone Shopping Centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, consistency in quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes as per menu requirements
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are maintained
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Cook
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
