Customer Service: Fraud and Scams (Afternoon Shift)

This is your chance to join the elite front line of defense at one of Australia's Big 4 Banks. We are looking for sharp, analytical, and dedicated officers to protect millions of customers from sophisticated fraud and scams.

• Pay: $45 per hour + Super + Overtime Rates

• Location: Parramatta

• Hours: 8 hour shifts, between 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Must be able to commit to afternoon shifts, your fixed hours will be between 12pm-12am - 8 hour shift, 5 days a week.

• Duration: 12-Month Contract (with potential for permanent conversion): Contract length is 12-months, permanent opportunities will be available. This role will only be available for those who have full Australian working rights.

• Roster: Includes every second weekend

The Role

You'll be joining the critical Fraud and Scams team, responsible for protecting both customers and the bank from financial crime during peak global activity hours. Your mission is to be a proactive force: identifying, investigating, and preventing sophisticated fraudulent activities in real-time.

A Day (and Night) in the Life

In this high-stakes 24/7 environment, you are the shield. You will:

• Lead the Investigation: Act as the key player in identifying and stopping live fraud attempts.

• Solve the Puzzle: Handle complex queries and alerts, using sharp judgment to resolve cases while they are still in motion.

• Be the Calm in the Storm: Support customers who may be discovering fraud in the early hours, managing cases from the first alert to final resolution.

• Own Your Work: Proactively manage your daily caseload within clear guidelines to protect the bank and its customers.

What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for a natural investigator who thrives in a quiet, focused environment and possesses:

• An Investigative Past: Experience in Financial Crime, Fraud, Scams, or similar investigations.

• Financial Know-How: Experience within banking or financial services is highly desired.

• A Detective’s Mindset: Analytical and critical-thinking skills to interpret data and make snap decisions.

• Reliability: Commitment to a roster that includes every second weekend.
