    Bundaberg is a regional city in Southeast Queensland and the southernmost gateway to the barrier reef. It is 15km inland from the Coast and situated on the Burnett River. It is a major centre within the broader Wide-Bay Burnett geographical region. It is about 385km north of the state capital, Brisbane which is four hours driving in the car to Brisbane or a 50-minute flight. Bundaberg’s climate is the most equable of any Australian town or city and ranked fifth on a worldwide comparison.
     
    Bundaberg has three hospitals all in close proximity to the medical centre. One public hospital – Bundaberg Base Hospital and two private hospitals – Friendlies Society Private Hospital and Mater Private Hospital. Bundaberg Ambulance Station is a 2-minute drive from the medical centre and Bundaberg is also home to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, who regularly transport patients to Bundaberg from rural and remote areas, as well as transferring critically ill patients to Brisbane for specialist care.
     
    The medical centre is a family-owned practice which has been operating for over 98 years and located right in the centre of Bundaberg. The medical centre is committed to providing best practice care to all their patients. they have your health as our priority, and we strive to deliver today’s medicine.  They are a 5-day (Monday to Friday) practice and offer a good work life balance. It is a fully computerised practice with all full time Doctors having their own designated modern consulting room. The doctors are offered excellent conditions and remuneration with high earning capacity and mixed billing. The medical centre has full Nurse Support with 4 nurses and administration support.
     
    Furthermore, the medical centre continues it’s long-standing accreditation with A.G.P.A.L (Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited), thus ensuring our standard of care is the best it can be.

    • Fully computerised using Best Practice Software and Hotdoc
    • Mixed billing – good earning potential
    • Full Nursing support from an experienced team of nurses and support staff
    • Online bookings and appointment reminders
    • Onsite pathology
    • AHPRA registration with a minimum of 3 years medical work experience
    • Remuneration: $100- $120/hr for the first 12 weeks or 60% of gross billing, whichever is higher for the right candidate
