What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Site Manager, we are looking for a collaborative Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory usage and storage at our Eagle Farm Site. This role plays a key part in enhancing company profitability by managing inventory-related activities, ensuring stock accuracy and product integrity for BevChain, and maintaining safety standards to support operational excellence. This is a permanent position, working with leading beverage clients, Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm. Key areas:
 

  • Manage inventory operations including receipting, handling damaged goods, order checking, stocktaking, cycle counts, stock adjustments, credit returns, out-of-stock reporting, aged stock reporting, loss prevention, and product location accuracy.
  • Lead and develop a small team by setting clear expectations, offering guidance and support, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Review inventory costs, assess pricing strategies, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support inventory budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Track and validate inventory movements to ensure accurate stock levels and data integrity, including customer stock reconciliations.
  • Coordinate customer stocktake activities, ensuring compliance with customer timelines and expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and delivering outstanding service.
  • Apply robust control measures to maintain inventory record accuracy and reduce discrepancies and risk.

  • We’re seeking a motivated, analytical, and effective leader to manage all facets of inventory.
  • The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a small team. 
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Manager in supply chain logistics or transport.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with strong task prioritisation and deadline management.
