Labourer/Service Technician
About the company:
Marketing leading cooling system maintenance specialists providing repairs, spare parts replacement, cleaning/disinfection, successfully servicing the commercial and industrial sectors for 30+ years.
We are looking for a labourer who has a view to becoming a service technician working across Metro Melbourne and regional Victoria cleaning and maintaining cooling tower systems.
Full training provided - No experience required, career progression on offer, with a company car for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting in cleaning coil units, fans and gears relating to cooling tower systems
- Handling and using hand/power/air tools - gurney/Hi-pressure cleaner, grinders/sanders
- Working at heights and confined spaces on occasion
- Completing service reports on IPAD
- Using safety systems including lock out/tag out and JSA's
Requirements
Key requirements:
- Ability to handle safely and use chemicals
- Experience working at heights and confined space is highly advantageous, however training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Confined Space and Working At Heights tickets preferred but not essential
- Solid knowledge and understanding of OH&S compliance and JSA's
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
