About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and configuring our Microsoft 365 environment and also for the administration and management of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This role involves overseeing platform environments, managing user access, monitoring usage, and ensuring solutions are compliant with organisational standards and security requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor service health and performance, and take proactive measures to prevent or mitigate issues.
  • Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc reviews of users and licensing as required.
  • Work with the Security team to configure and manage security settings and compliance features to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to IT and other organisational projects as required.
  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for end users experiencing problems with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Write and maintain documentation for procedures, processes, and configurations using Markdown or similar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and develop solutions.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Conduct regular assessments of technology performance and make recommendations for improvements. Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization to streamline processes and improve productivity.

About You

You will have hands-on experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment for 500+ users across multiple countries and sites, as well as previous Power Platform administration experience. In addition to your technical skills and experience, your pro-active approach, your well-developed communication skills and your ability to drive change will all help to ensure your success in the role.

You will also bring:

  • Experience of managing Entra/ Azure AD
  • Knowledge of DNS security – DMARC, DKIM, SPF
  • Licence management experience
  • Experience managing Teams calling – internal and external
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolutions
  • Understanding of change management procedures
  • Diploma level qualification (preferably a Bachelor’s) in ICT
  • 5+ years’ experience in a systems administration role
