Motor mechanic

SHINE AUTOMOTIVE is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Salisbury South, SA. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a variety of vehicles to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles including servicing, inspections, replacing parts, and troubleshooting issues
2. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
3. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
4. Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
5. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
6. Keep the workshop clean, organised and compliant with all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade
2. 2+ years of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
3. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic equipment and repair procedures
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
6. Good communication and customer service skills
7. A current driver's licence and your own tools
