    All Communication Matters (ACM) is a growing, innovative speech pathology private practice with clinics in Hornsby & Erina. Established in 2005, ACM provides speech pathology services to children, adolescents and adults in our clinics and local partner schools. Our team includes managers, senior supervisors, experienced and early career level speech pathologists as well as allied health assistants and administrative staff. Due to high demands for services, we are growing and seek new graduate clinicians to join our speech pathology team.

    Our extensive New Graduate Program has a focus on supporting and upskilling you to provide the best therapy to clients and the best start to your career, from the outset.     New Graduate Program:

    • Structured onboarding including shadowing and training sessions over the first 3-6 months
    • A gradual build-up of caseload over a 3-6 month period
    • Regular supervision including; Weekly formal 1:1 face-to-face supervision with a Senior Speech Pathologist as well as adhoc supervision to ensure high quality care
    • Weekly group supervision & in-house professional development for the first 3 months (fortnightly from 3-6 months)
    • Informal support through our peer buddy program
    • Fortnightly staff meetings
    • 3 month check in and 12-month performance reviews with clinical managers and individual professional development plan

    Our Clients:

    • We’re NDIS registered and support a wide range of NDIS and private child, adolescent and adult clients.
    • Typical areas we support include: speech production, oral language, reading, spelling, reading comprehension, written expression, fluency difficulties, pragmatic language and social communication.

    About the New Graduate Role:

    • Manage a varied caseload and facilitate individual and group based therapy (with support from senior clinicians)
    • Collaborate with clients, parents, teachers, colleagues and other professionals associated with your clients
    • Complete reports and clinical documentation tasks
    • Use our cloud-based software to complete clinical notes and other duties
    • Primarily based in clinic, with some regular local school visits
    • Gradual, supported development of clinical skills

    Essential Criteria:

    • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
    • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
    • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility for membership)
    • Current Working with Children's check (WWCC) (or eligibility to apply)
    • Current driver’s licence and use of own vehicle (petrol allowance provided)
    • Commitment to continuingâ¯professional development and evidence-based practice
    • Collaborative, client-centred approach
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
