About the role

In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical, dispensing and medicines management services, offering trusted therapeutic advice to medical, nursing and allied health professionals. At the AHP3 level, you will lead and coordinate a designated service area, applying advanced clinical judgement and driving safe, effective and cost-conscious medication use. At the AHP2 level, you will contribute to optimal patient outcomes through collaborative care, developing your skills across inpatient and outpatient services.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will build strong relationships, support the supervision and development of interns and students, and contribute to continuous improvement in medication safety and service delivery. You will balance clinical priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on quality use of medicines.

The Yorke and Northern region is a diverse coastal and agricultural area stretching from just north of Adelaide, featuring the Yorke Peninsula’s sandy beaches and the "Copper Coast" to the inland Clare Valley wine region and Southern Flinders Ranges. It is a premier destination for fishing, camping, maritime history, and rustic heritage tourism.

About You

  • AHP3: proven leadership; AHP2: willingness to grow into leadership
