About the Role
As a Practice Nurse, you will work closely with the local team to provide essential healthcare services to the community. Your responsibilities will include:-
Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation.

Administering immunisations.
-
Performing venepuncture and cannulation with confidence.
-
Providing health education and promotion to individuals and the community.
-
Supporting chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives.

Collaborating with GPs and other health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
-
Contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
What We're Looking For
Essential Criteria:

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Proven experience as a Registered Nurse across diverse clinical settings.

Proficiency in venepuncture and cannulation.

Current and valid CPR Certificate.
-
Nurse Immuniser certification.
Highly Desired (but not essential):
-
Experience in rural or remote healthcare.

Previous experience in general practice or community health.

Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
