    About the Role
    As a Practice Nurse, you will work closely with the local team to provide essential healthcare services to the community. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation.

    • Administering immunisations.

    • Performing venepuncture and cannulation with confidence.

    • Providing health education and promotion to individuals and the community.

    • Supporting chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives.

    • Collaborating with GPs and other health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

    • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.

    • Contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

    What We're Looking For

    Essential Criteria:

    • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).

    • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse across diverse clinical settings.

    • Proficiency in venepuncture and cannulation.

    • Current and valid CPR Certificate.

    • Nurse Immuniser certification.

    Highly Desired (but not essential):

    • Experience in rural or remote healthcare.

    • Previous experience in general practice or community health.

    • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
