Pablito’s Mexican is a vibrant new addition to the Gold Coast’s Mexican dining scene. We specialise in Mexican cuisine, bringing authentic flavours to enrich your taste buds.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the venue, ensuring a high standard of customer service, efficient staff management, and smooth day-to-day functioning of both front and back-of-house activities. This is a full-time position based in Hope Island, QLD.
Main tasks:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and high-quality customer experience.
- Supervise, train, and coordinate staff, including rostering, performance management, and fostering a productive team environment.
- Monitor service standards and resolve customer feedback or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Oversee stock control, including ordering supplies, managing inventory levels, and minimising waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals in line with service expectations.
- Manage budgets, control operational costs, and contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Maintain records of stock levels, staff performance, and financial transactions as required.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure the premises, equipment, and facilities are maintained to a high standard and arrange repairs or maintenance when necessary.
Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:
- Relevant Diploma or higher qualification, and at least a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry.
Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $80.000,00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
