Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars (rebar) and mesh
Install and tie steel bars using wire, clips, or welds
Position and secure reinforcement within concrete forms
Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and coverage of steel
Work with concrete teams before and during pouring
Ability to read technical drawings and plans
Good physical strength and stamina
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
Teamwork and communication skills.
